Documents for Family Reunification

  1. Application form completed and signed in person by the applicant
  2. Valid passport with matching name on the receipt
  3. Photocopy of biographical page and any visas on A4 paper
  4. Two current biometric photos
  5. Criminal record certificate in German obtained from the e-government system
  6. Original and one photocopy of stamped and signed International Birth Certificate (Form A)
  7. Photocopy of lease agreement or property deed of person residing in Austria
  8. Original and one photocopy of health insurance certificate and last three months of payslips of person residing in Austria
  9. One photocopy each of citizenship certificate and passport or passport and residence card of person residing in Austria
  10. One photocopy of insurance card of person residing in Austria
  11. Original and one photocopy of residence permit of person residing in Austria
  12. Original and one photocopy of fully comprehensive Family Registry Certificate with wet signature and stamp from civil registration office and German translation
  13. Original and one photocopy of marriage certificate
  14. Original and one photocopy of International Marriage Certificate with wet signature and stamp from civil registration office (Form B)
  15. Original and one photocopy of divorce decree with German translation by sworn translator (if divorce was in Turkish)
  16. Original and one photocopy of International Death Certificate (Form C) if previous marriage ended in death
  17. Document proving person residing in Austria requires special care due to their health and letter stating necessity of special care (Mother-Father-Sibling, etc.)
  18. Document indicating type, amount, and term of financial support provided by person residing in Austria (Mother-Father-Sibling, etc.)
  19. Original and one photocopy of Adoption Certificate and German translation by sworn translator
  20. Original and one photocopy of court order showing custody in case of divorce and German translation by sworn translator (Mother-Father-Sibling-Grandmother-Grandfather-Grandchild, etc.)
  21. If person in family reunion (with Austrian citizen) is relative, FORM 11 must be completed
  22. Stamped and signed registration certificate from civil registration office
  23. Credit history of spouse residing in Austria (KSV-Auszug)
  24. Citizenship certificate with statement and stamped and signed Family Registry Certificate (closed register) in German obtained in name of Austrian citizen from civil registration office
  25. Travel health insurance covering COVID
